We Make It Easy to Help Others

We provide grants for patients on a quarterly basis (when available). These grants will be available to those with a confirmed diagnosis of Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome (SMAS). These are only available to residents of the United States of America (USA).

For consideration of a grant applicants must provide the previous year’s tax form and require financial need as established by guidelines of a poverty level of 300%. If your financial status has changed significantly in the past 90 days please provide pay stubs and documentation to explain the change. The application is available at the end of the page.

The lifetime maximum for grant recipients is $750. This will be given on a one-time basis for the purpose of supplementing the underinsured or uninsured. This money is meant to be put towards expenses related to your SMAS treatment. We reserve the right to add funding for those who do not meet poverty-level guidelines if/when grant funds increase.

Those expenses can include:

Related Medical Bills

Providing Transportation

Hotel Accommodations

Medical Supplies

Failure to complete applications in their entirety will result in an application being automatically denied. Please understand that we require these documents because we are a 501c3 nonprofit. We have to abide by the IRS guidelines.
